The word Khidmat literally translated means “service not governed by reward” and every mumin has a yearning to do Khidmath of the Dawat to earn the Khushi and Dua of our Beloved Aqa Moula (TUS). What matters most is that there is something which scratches your itch and you feel the need to help others or do some community work or just spread the love and message of Aqa Moula (TUS).The word Shabab literally translated means “youth” however the concept of youth is not in age but the youthfulness you portray from within. There are certain Khidmats that are best done by youth and to bring all the youth of the community together in doing Khidmath Syedena Taher Saifuddin Saheb (A Q) on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Syedena Taher Saifuddin Saheb (A Q) the Shababul-Eidiz Zahabi was established in 1965 in the office of Dawat.

There are many organizations and associations that have sprung up where people with a common goal have come together to do Khidmat under various names however we must understand the significance of the organizations that have been established by the Dawat and each and every mumin must be a part of at least one of the undermentioned Khidmat Guzaar groups.

• Talebaat-ul-Kulliyat – Non misaaq mumenaat girls khidmath Guzaar group
• Tolabat-ul-Kulliya – Non misaaq mumin boys khidmath Guzaar group
• Bunaiyatul-Eidiz-Zahabi – Youth up to 35years with missaq girls khidmath Guzaar group
• Shababul-Eidiz-Zahabi – Youth up to 35 years with missaq boys khidmath Guzaar group
• Burhani Womens’ – Mature mumenaat ladies khidmath Guzaar group
• Jumaat Commitees – Mature mumin Gents khidmath Guzaar group
• Kaleemi Khidmat Guzaar

The Shababul-Eidiz-Zahabi Colombo was too established in 1972.

The main activity of the Shababul-Eidiz Zahabi until recent times was the Carnival to mark the Salgirah Celebrations of our beloved Aqa Moula (TUS), however in the recent 5 years the activities have steadily increased with the strong commitment and dedication of its membership. Some of the activities organized recently are the Niyaz-E-Hussain on the 12 th of Moharram each year, Ashara Kidmath, Carnival and swimming meet to celebrate the Salagirah Mibarak of Aqa Moula (TUS), Ziyarat Tours to Karabala and Misr, Iftaar and Jaman serving at Qutbi Hall and Masjid during Ramazan, Pehran Project and Sherbat Sabeel (discontinued from this year), E-Jumaat Card khidmat, Muasaat and Social community work like tsunami, and the list goes on.

This does not mean that Shabab boys are all work and no fun. We do quite a few fun activities like the basket ball competition, New Year at bolgoda and other excursions and outings. The organisation bosts only a handful of members for all yearly activities, and we hope more youngsters would join with new ideas to obtain the khushi mubarak of our beloved Aqa Moula TUS. With the hope and prayer of Ashara next year in Colombo the Shababul-Eidiz-Zahabi needs all the support and commitment of its membership to carry out the task to obtain the khushi and dua mubarak of our beloved Aqa Moula (TUS) and may allah ta’ala grant long life with sehat to Moula to direct and guide us to become eternal khidmat guzaars.
