Colombo Mumineen Participate in Independance Day Celebrations [Feb 10]

The Independence day of Sri Lanka occurred on February 4. Along with the main military parade in the morning there was a Cultural show and exhibition in the afternoon.
Mumineen were among the other ethnic groups and communities who took part in the cultural parade.
Later the President opened the Exhibition to celebrate the 61st Independence day of Sri Lanka. Colombo Jamaat had set up a stall on our community.
The president visited our stall on the 4 th, and he mentioned that the Bohras contributed towards 5% of the Sri Lankan economy.

The stall had 4 sections.
1. Introduction of Bohras and how they came to Sri Lanka
2. Pictures of Leaders of Sri Lanka with Muqaddas Moula (R.A) & Huzuralla (TUS)
3. Our Culture.
4. Our Loyalty to Sri Lanka
 

The exhibition was opened on Wednesday 4 February and continues till 9 February. All Sanstas involved in the Sri Lanka Jamaat took part in the setting up and managing of the Stall. Shababul Eidiz Zahabi managed it on Friday the 6th of February.
