During Ashara Mubaraka 1431H, Aqa Moula (TUS) did zikr and Dua Mubarak about the importance of Karbala Moalla ziyarat and mumineen should go for ziyarat. Keeping this Zikr in mind. We decided that the first project of 1431H should be organizing of Karbala Moalla Ziyarat tour.

When we began this project, we were targetting about 40 mumineen, but we received an overwhelming response and in the end we had a total of 129 mumineen who travelled through Shababul Eidiz Zahabi.

Throughout the organizing many issues arised, one of the most important was whether we should have a group of 129 or split this group. Our group leaders Moiz Asgerally and Abbas Sh Fazlehussain gave us himat and we stuck to having one group.

The group departed on 7th April and returned on the 19th of April, staying a total of 10 days in Karbala Moalla and Najaf e Ashraf.

Before the group left, we had organized a Sabak near Janab Amil Saheb which also included a powerpoint presentation. We sincerely thank Janab Amil Saheb for his time and his wonderful sabak, which was very important for the mumineen.

Shababul Eidiz Zahabi also gave all adults a bag when we were issuing the tickets.

As soon as the group left on the 7th of April, we received a call that kept us awake for most of the night. The call informed us that all airports in iraq were closed due to a terrorist threat and it could take as long as 96 hours or more before it opened. We immediately took out Nazrul Maqam (A.S) and came and discussed with Janab Amil Saheb. Janab Amil Saheb spoke to the head of Faiz E Husaini Dubai, Sh Khuzaima Bhai spoke to Janab Kinana Bhai Saheb, and other Jamat members and we tried everything to possible from here. Janab Amil Saheb also stayed awake and prayed a behori for the mumineen travelling to Karbala Moalla. Now we had to wait. With the Dua Mubarak of Aqa Moula (TUS) the authority in Iraq had opened the Baghdad airport for a few hours, all the mumineen were sent to Baghdad. Their scheduled wait in Dubai was for 15 hours and they had to only wait an extra 2 hours and they got their flight to Baghdad.

They reached the Faiz late in the night, but with the Dua Mubarak of Aqa Moula (TUS) they had made it to their destination safely. We remembered the Zikr of the Buriya and thought that Imam Husain (A.S) ni ziyarat waste takleef to uthawu pare.

The group returned as planned on the 19th of April, due to the najaf airport being closed, they returned from Basra.

We had sent 4 mumineen Aqa Moula (TUS) taraf si giving them DXB-NAJAF-DXB ticket, faiz lawazim, and visa charges. They only had to pay for the Cmb-Dxb-Cmb ticket.

Mumineen of Colombo with the niyat of Sehat Kamela and Tulul Umr of Aqa Moula (TUS) walked from the Mumbai International Airport till Rozat u Tahera. Totally 98 mumineen arrived from Colombo on Friday 3rd April 2009 with this azeem niyat. The walk began at 4.35 am IST and lasted till 11.00 am.

All arrangements for the walk were made by Shababul Eidiz Zahabi Mumbai.

• Refreshments were available throughout the walk.
• An ambulance was on call.
• Shabab members were walking with us and guiding us, and a few members were travelling with us on scooters.
• Breakfast was provided at the Bandra Masjid.
• Upon completition of the walk we were all taken to Saifee Utilities, and served tea, sherbet and snacks.

All arrangements made by Shababul Eidiz Zahabi Mumbai were exceptional, and the mumineen of Colombo thank them wholeheartedly.

At approximately 11.30 am, mumineen of colombo went to Rozat u Tahera carrying banners and photos of Aqa Moula (TUS). Janab Ali Asger Bhai Saheb Izzuddin later arrived and performed ziyarat with us and did Dua, Matam and Gilaf Charawanu. We thank Janab Ali Asger Bhai Saheb Izzuddin for his support and encouragement.

After ziyarat mumineen went to their respective utaras for rest. Mumineen then came together for ziyarat and matam again late in the evening.

The next day at approximately 5.00 pm, mumineen got the sharaf of mizaj pursi and araz near Syed ul Ajal Shehzada Qusai Bhai Saheb Vajihuddin (D.M). Get well soon cards that were prepared by all the sanstas and Anjuman e Saifi Sri Lanka trust were also arazed. Shehzada Saheb did dua on our behalf.

Araz was also done near Syed ul Ajal Mukasir Saheb Hussain Bhai Saheb Husamuddin (D.M) Aali Waqar Shehzada Qaid Johar Bhai Saheb Izzuddin (D.M), Aali Waqar Shehzada Malek ul Ashtar Bhai Saheb Shujauddin (D.M).

Each and every Mumin who was present on this tour will definitely, cherish every moment he experienced and araz Sajadut us Shukr wal Ubudiyat Fil Hazrat il Imamiyat in Nooraniyah.

May Allah Ta’ala grant our beloved Moula (TUS) a speedy recovery, and Grant Aqa Moula (TUS) a long life till the day of Qayamat. Ameen!

The IMPORTANCE of the eJamaat card is increasing day by day with the card playing a pivotal role in all aspects of our lives, be it registration and attendance of miqaats with Aqa Moula (TUS), Araz of Niyaz-E-Hussain in Ashara Mubaraka, or the attendance of local miqaats and sabaqs. Over a short period of time, the eJamaat card has evolved to become an identification document to ascertain our dawoodi Bohara identity and soon will become a MUST carry in our wallets. Mumineen are able to check their miqaat history, make posting on the vepar section and have the benefit of sending araz to Aqa Moula (TUS) via the eJamaat website.

The Shababul Eidiz Zahabi has concluded the first leg of the GARAGE SALE. We had collected items mostly new items from mumineen, which they did not require and we then sold them at the Carnival.
